What size branches can the MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper handle?

The Raptor 1100 is designed to chip branches and green woody material up to 50mm (2 inches) in diameter. This is ideal for most garden waste, small trees, and shrubs. It's not suitable for very thick logs or fibrous materials like palm fronds.

Is the MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper easy to maneuver around my property?

Yes, the MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper features sturdy tyres and a well-balanced design, making it relatively easy to move across your lawn or uneven terrain. You can position it where you need it for your garden cleanup tasks.

How does the safety system on the Raptor 1100 wood chipper protect the operator?

The Raptor 1100 is equipped with a crucial emergency stop button for immediate shutdown if needed. It also features a low-oil shutdown system that automatically turns off the engine if the oil level is too low, preventing engine damage and ensuring safe operation.

What kind of maintenance is required for the Raptor 1100 wood chipper?

Regular maintenance includes checking and topping up oil and fuel, cleaning the unit, and ensuring the blades remain sharp for optimal performance. Access to the blades is designed for straightforward maintenance, and there are key grease points to keep lubricated for smooth operation.

How does the MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper differ from larger, more industrial models?

The primary difference is the branch capacity. The MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper is best suited for homeowners or small-scale professional use, handling branches up to 50mm. Larger industrial chippers can process significantly thicker material but are typically much larger, more expensive, and require different operating procedures.

What do I need to do before using the MICHIGAN 7HP 212cc Petrol Wood Chipper for the first time?

Before initial use, you'll need to add engine oil (check the manual for the specific type and amount) and fuel. Some assembly may be required, such as attaching the handles or discharge chute. Please refer to the included instruction manual for detailed assembly and pre-operation checks.
