The Baumr-AG Hercules HPS800 MkII 65 Ton Log Splitter is the most powerful engine-driven splitter in the Baumr-AG range and one of the most in-demand petrol log splitters on the Australian market. With an 18HP OHV four-stroke engine and patented DirectDrive system, it makes light work of the toughest Australian hardwoods including Gum and Ironbark, splitting logs into quarters at the flick of a lever.

Designed for versatility, the HPS800 MkII splits in both horizontal and vertical positions so you can avoid lifting heavy logs. The removable 4-way wedge head splits 4 timbers from one log with no fixed bolts for quick interchange, and the convenient working table provides storage for multiple timbers before folding away for compact storage.

Built for Australian conditions, it features a proper 50mm Australian trailer coupling (not US type), premium all-terrain 16-inch extra-wide rubber tyres, and a heavy-duty fixed stripper to remove wood stuck to the wedge on the return cycle. An extra-large quick-release fold-away jockey wheel with integrated dual-action foot-activated brake prevents rolling or pivoting during use.

Hydraulic reliability is ensured by just two genuine Benmar hoses protected by Baumr-AG's patented HoseGuard spiral system, plus an oversized oil filter to guard against particle contamination, the number one cause of log splitter failure.
